Jesus declared: "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few." Today, I resume offering my YogaFaith ministry classes after an hiatus of 6 years. Back than I was the Children's Ministry Coordinator at New Life and I volunteered teaching Christ-Center Yoga Classes. Six years later, I am now the Director of Student Ministries. These Christ-centered sessions are open to Christians who believe in Jesus' redemptive power over all things, Jesus lovers, and might be curious to experience worship in a unique way—where pews are replaced by mats and shoes by bare feet. We come together led by the Holy Spirit to surrender, to cry, weep and laugh together.
This is a safe space to unleash the hurt we carry, sometimes trapped in our bodies through unexplained pain or discomfort. This is a ministry of RECONCILIATION first and foremost to Our Lord Jesus Christ, the MESSIAH. He saved this bold, loud and emotional Brazilian girl with big American dreams when she was 9 years old to unleash His very own designed for her life (Phil 2:13) through all the resistance, denials and rejections, as well all the victories, and entire villages who came along by my side including but not limited to New Life Christian Fellowship leadership, Bridge Ministries.
